LOUISVILLE -Robert John Noll, 74, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, 2006, at Baptist Hospital East.
He was born in Zanesville to the late Alphonsus and Elizabeth Crum Noll. He was a retired financial manager for General Electric with more than 35 years of service. After retiring he was chairman of the board of the Audio Studio for the Reading Impaired, Inc. He was also a member of the Mother of Good Counsel Catholic Church, an Army veteran in charge of the Nike missile battery at Pittsburgh and a Kentucky Colonel.
Surviving are three sons, Mike (Tricia), James (Erin) of New York, N.Y., and Chris (Brenda) Noll of Florence, Ky.; two daughters, Cathy Hanks (Don) of Winfield, W.Va., and Carol Schnell (Tony) of Louisville; sister Bonnie Noll of Columbus; and 14 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Margaret Rodgers Noll, who passed away Nov. 16, 1995.
Calling hours will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 22, at the Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, at Mother of Good Counsel, 8509 Westport Road with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
