DALHART - Charlotte Germaine "Jerry" Holden, 67, died Friday, Feb. 20, 1998.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Lakeview United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Edwards, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Hass Funeral Home Inc.

Mrs. Holden was born in Cimarron, Kan., and moved to Greensburg, Kan., when she was 9. She returned to Cimarron in 1943 and graduated from Cimarron High School in 1948.

She married Wilbur Holden in 1948. They moved to Hastings, Neb., in 1966 and to Dalhart in 1991. Mr. Holden preceded her in death.

Mrs. Holden was a member of the national singing group "Sweet Adelines." She was an Avon representative for more than 20 years. She was a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi and a member of Lakeview United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Consbruck of Dalhart; three sons, Michael Holden of Montrose, Colo., Douglas Holden of Gustine, Calif., and Andrew Holden of Grand Rapids, Minn.; a sister, Jacqueline Holland of Colorado City, Colo.; two brothers, Jerome Holden of Broken Arrow, Okla., and James Holden of Wichita, Kan.; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

The family requests memorials be to Senior Citizens Center, 602 Denrock, Dalhart, Texas 79022; or Coon Memorial Nursing Home, 210 Texas Blvd., Dalhart, Texas 79022.
