James Allen Armstrong and Laura Idonia Fayard lived in the Woolmarket Community, Harrison County, Mississippi. Their home was located north of the Woolmarket Road around the curve from Jim Byrd Road. The old place sat very far off the road and could not be seen from the Woolmarket Road.
some of their children settled around very close to their home. Orville, Norman and Avery lived on Jim Byrd Road just east of their old homestead.
