He married (Second) Maranda O. Hunt on December 26, 1847 in Saline County, Missouri. They were the parents of Samuel Oliver, Luisa Jane, Mary E., Genoah Hester, Walker, Malinda A., Johnson Marshall and Albion Alvey Covey. He married (third) Sarah Winiford Morris in Collin County, Texas. They were the parents of Julia Minerva and Maloria Cornelia Covey. Enoch was a Civil War Veteran.
