Mr. Joe Larimore of Howe LeFlore County Oklahoma died Tuesday, July 8, 2008, in Howe. Mr. Larimore was 75 years old. He was a retired Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. Mr. Larimore also had retired from the Oklahoma National Guard. He served in the Korean Conflict with the United States Air Force and also served on the U.S.S. Independence with the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Larimore Barr, Humble, TX.
He is survived by his wife: Janice Larimore of Howe, Oklahoma; a daughter: Beth Armstrong and her husband, Steve of Howe, Oklahoma; a son: Harmon Larimore of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two sisters: Lela Shidell of Mustang, Oklahoma and Wilma Mueting of Mountain Home, Arkansas; four wonderful grandchildren: Lucian, Layne, Johnathon, & Jannet Armstrong, all of Howe, Oklahoma.
