LINDA-LU LAWTON DELANEY, 70, of Gray Road, South Windsor, CT, passed away May 17, 2008 at the Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT. Born on August 29, 1937 in Chester, WV, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Virginia Silverthorn Lawton. She was a 1955 graduate of W.E. Wells High School in Newell, and had spent the last 50 years in Connecticut, where she retired as a legal secretary with Day, Berry and Howard Law Firm. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, J. Douglas "Doug" Delaney, a sister, Lenna Lockhart of East Liverpool, and two brothers, Thomas and Joseph Lawton, both of Chester. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Delaney was preceded in death by a brother, David Lawton.
