CHERRYVALE -- Reva Abbott, 102, of Cherryvale died at 12:45 a.m. Sunday, July 6, 2008, at her home in Cherryvale.
She was born April 23, 1906, in Indian Territory, which is now Oklahoma. She grew up and attended school there.
In 1923 she married Luin Lewis Atterbery at Enid, Okla. He preceded her in death in 1946.
She married Louis Allen Abbott in 1949. He preceded her in death in 1972.
Survivors include a son, Gyle Atterberry of Mount Pleasant, Mich.; a daughter, Donelle Jordan of Cherryvale; eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by two sons, Galen Atterbery and an infant.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fairview Cemetery at Cherryvale. The casket will remain closed, but friends may call at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Parsons at their convenience.
