Noted Italian Actress. Born Palmira Omiccioli in Quinto al Mare, Genova, Liguria, Italy. She appeared in many films from 1950 to 1960. Her films include "Persiane chiuse" (1951), "Sensualita'" (1952), " Le Amiche" (1955), "Estate violenta" (1959), "Un maledetto imbroglio" (1959), "L'Impiegato" (1960) with Nino Manfredi and "The Bible" (1966), directed by John Huston. She also appeared in TV series. She won the Best Actress Prize of the Mar del Plata Film Festival and the Nastro d'Argento for Valerio Zurlini's film "Estate Violenta" (1959). Eleonora died in Palermo, Sicily, Italy in 2007 for cerebral hemorrhage.
