Terri Ann Burch, 52, passed away unexpectedly, July 7, 2008, at her residence.
Terri was born Oct. 14, 1955. in Catawba County to Lois Killian Burch and the late Jack T. Burch.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and was previously employed as a cosmetologist.
Survivors include her mother, Lois Killian Burch, of Hickory, two sisters, Linda B. Church and fiancé, Jack Miller, of Hickory and Jane B. Reid and Stuart L. Reid, of Hickory; two nephews, Darrin L. Reid and wife, Joni, of Claremont, and Wesley N. Reid and wife Jennifer, of Hickory. Three great-nephews, John Christian Reid ,Ryen Christain Reid and Jon Brann Christain Reid, all of Claremont, two great nieces, Lauren S. Reid and Kate A. Reid, both of Hickory. her fiancé, Randy Berry, of Connelly Springs, her beloved dog and love of her life, "Scotty" and other beloved animals, a lifelong devoted friend, Crystal Travis, of Bethlehem, special friends Edwin and Joan Propst, of Hickory, an aunt Ruby Allmon, of Newton and a number of cousins.
Our beloved Terri was a remarkable unique lady who loved life and everything that God created. Terri loved to garden, loved flowers and enjoyed cooking. Her love for her family, friends and pets will always be cherished.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Jim Stevens officiating. Viewing will be from 10:30 to 11 a.m. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening at Bass-Smith Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
