Kenneth Richard Joe "Cookie Cutter" Ulve, 25, of Rock Falls, died Monday, June 30, 2008, at his home. He was employed by Terry Ratliff Construction as a roofer for 4 1/2 years.

Mr. Ulve was born April 13, 1983, in Sterling, the son of Kenneth F. and Justina D. (Port) Ulve.

Survivors include a son, Kaden J. Ulve of Sterling; his parents, Kenneth F. Ulve of Dixon and Justina Port of Rock Falls; his stepfather, Russell Port of Chadwick; three sisters, Kendra Kruse of Harmon, Fawn Cook of Davenport, Iowa, and Jade Port of Rock Falls; three brothers, Kyle Ulve and Jarod Port, both of Rock Falls, and Jeremy Hayes of Long View, Texas; and his maternal grandmother, Joan Walters of Dixon.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents.
