Bobbie F. (Craig) Weber, 91, formerly of Garden City, Kan, passed away Feb. 25, 2008 at Juniper Village in Monte Vista, Colo. She was born Nov. 9, 1916 in Garden City to Robert and Ollie (Martin) Craig.

She attended Lincoln Country School, Garden City H.S. and Garden City Community College. She was a member of the Community Congregational Church and had taught Sunday School there. She was united in marriage to John Weber on Nov. 19, 1948 and afterward moved to Montrose, Colo.
After the death of her husband she returned to Garden City and was employed by Farm Credit Union until her retirement. She loved helping others and did volunteer work at various places, including St. Catherine's Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, brother Ronald Craig. She is survived by two sons, John (Judy) Weber of Wichita, Kan. and Gary (Rita) Weber of Kakeeney, Kan; daughter Bette (Rick) Barnett of South Fork, Colo; grandsons Braxten Brattin of Amarillo, Texas, Derek Brattin of Denton, Texas and Jacob Weber of Wakeeny; 3 great-grandchildren; step-sons Russel and Don Weber: step-daugher Joan Garner, along with step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; brothers John Martin Craig of Topeka, Kan, Richard Craig of Sun Lake, Ariz, Virgil and Grover Craig of Garden City; sisters Bettie Cleman of Garden City and Ruphell of Rogers, Ark.

Cremation was chosen, and a celebration of her life will be held June 27, 2008 in Montrose, Colo. where she will be laid to rest beside her husband. Condolences may be sent in care of Strohmayer's Funeral Home, 205. N. Broadway, Monte Vista, Colo. Memorials in her name have been set up at Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo in Garden City.
