"Miss Cartie", who is Aunt Cartie to many nieces and nephews who love her and visit her often, has lived in the same house all of her life except for the first five years of her marriage to Tom Reynolds.
They had no children but reared and cared for two as if they were their own. Louise Wall, Hunter Walls' daughter, having lost her mother, lived in their home until her marriage to Charles Anglin, son of Mr. And Mrs. C.P. Anglin of Madison, N.C.. They live in Winston-Salem, have four children and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Cartie Wall is a foster grandmother and great-grandmother. A foster son, Russell Moore Reynolds, grew up in the home, went to the first World War, and died in a Veterans hospital.
