Anna Mae Treadway went to meet her Savior on January 31, 2013 at the family home on Cactus Street, where she and her husband purchased land and become one of the very first families to build west of City Park in 1949.

Anna Mae was born in 1924 in Sharon Springs, KS. She was 88 years of age at her passing. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Raymond and Ethel Young; her first husband Charles Denver Stevens; and her second husband Lewis Cecil Treadway; also two sisters and two brothers.

Anna Mae is survived by one brother, Howard (Vera) Young of LaPorte, CO; and two daughters, Charlotte (David) Bradfield of Alaska and Linda Marie (Kirk) Reed of the family home; one extended daughter, Louise Dikeman of Pueblo, CO; four grandchildren, Chris Ann (Jason) Macedo, Lewis Denver "Skeeter" (Bonnie) Christiansen, Chad Ray (Brandy) Christiansen, Lesia Marie (Doug) Smith; and four extended grandchildren, Patricia (Karl) Watson, Janet (Horst) Fellhauer, Sheila Capitello, and Wanda Johnson. She is also survived by twenty four great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Anna Mae worked at the Pueblo Ordinance Depot and later as a Nurses Aide at Parkview Hospital. Anna Mae was a member of the First Volunteer Fire Department Women's Auxiliary formed west of City Park.

In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to Shammash Ariel in Pueblo, CO. Graveside services were held Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 at Imperial Memorial Gardens in Pueblo, CO.
