Mr. Lyons was 78 years old. He was retired from Whirlpool Corporation and a member of teh Wood Memorial Christian Church in Van Buren, Arkansas. Mr. Lyons was a United States ARMY veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Lyons is survived by his wife Sally Lyons of the home; a daughter: Andrea Wagner of Van Buren, Arkansas; five sons: Gordon Lyons of Conway, Arkansas, Gregg Lyons of Van Buren, Arkansas, Andy Lyons of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Eric Lyons of Marietta, Texas, and Jerome Tindle of Van Buren, Arkansas; and 10 wonderful grandchildren.
Graveside services was held on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at 10:00a.m. at the Hall Arbor Cemetery.
Dr. Lee Woodward, officiated the service. Mr. Lyons received full military honors, provided by the United States Army.
