Sallie C. Baird, 99, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2008, at Mabee Health Care Center in Midland, Texas. She was a longtime Waco resident. Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, at Oakwood Cemetery.
Sallie was born in Waco, Texas, to the late William and Annie Geer. She has been a lifelong Episcopalian and a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Waco.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph W. Baird.
She is survived by daughter, Sally Ann Ugland, of Midland; grandchildren, Joanne Grieder, of San Antonio, David Ugland, of Charlotte, NC, and Susan Harnagle, of Southlake, Texas; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
