Born Mary Elizabeth Phillips, her father took his mother's maiden name, Stanton, when Mary was 9 yrs old, upon the occasion of the family's migrating to United States. Wife of 1) Cornelius Dale Struble and 2) Phillip Melancthon Williams (divorced). Note that the birth year on the stone is incorrect; research has proven that 1848 is correct.
