Maurce was born in Prattsville, AR and married Mary Jones and had 4 children, Debbie, Cathy, Nina and Tina. He moved to Oregon in the early '50s with his wife, mom, dad and sisters to work in the logging industry. He and the family returned to AR several times but would always return to Oregon stating how difficult it was to make a living wage in AR. He had a fabulous sense of humor as did his siblings and he was loved and admired by his family and friends.
