Mrs. Lorraine L. Baker, 35, of St. Louis, Mo., died there Friday after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage nine days ago. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Robert Baker, three daughters and a son; her father, Gottfried Orlowski; brother and sister-in-law Ray & Lorraine Orlowski; her parents-in-law, John & Lois Baker; brother-in-law & sister-in-law Dr. & Mrs. J. Walter Grundhauser; and nine nephews and nieces.
Lorraine was born in Winfield, Kansas on March 10, 1931, to Ellen. In May 1932 she was adopted by Gottfried and Marie Orlowski. She was reared in Leavenworth and attended the Lutheran school and Leavenworth High School. After graduation she attended Washburn University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In 1957 she married Robert Baker. Dr. & Mrs. Baker have lived in St. Louis for three years.
Mrs. Baker was a member of St. Rita's Catholic Church in St. Louis. Funeral Services will be at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Leavenworth, Kansas. Interment to take place in Mt. Muncie Cemetery.
