G.W. Cochran dies; services at 10 Tuesday

Wiggins- George Washington Cochran, 69, a native of Perry County, died at his home northeast of Wiggins at 2:20 today.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the graveside
in the family cemetery. Rev. Fred Smith, Rev. W.A. Hartfield
and Rev. Mason Liittlefield will officiate. The body was to be taken to the home at 3 p.m. today by Dees Funeral Home.

Mr. Cochran was a member of New Zion Methodist Church and a
former road constructor, working part time in a shipyard.
he also was a farmer and cattleman. he was a member of Perry
County ASCSO.

Survivors are one son, Newton A. Cochran of near Wiggins and
one brother , B.U. Cochran of Gulfport.

Pallbearers will be David Cochran Jr., George Cochran, Rolland Byrd, Virgil Walters, Arlin Fore.
