Mr. Joseph L. Snodgrass, an old settler and respected citizen of Deepwater township, died at his home one half mile north of Spruce, Friday morning, October 6th. Mr. Snodgrass suffered a severe stroke of paralysis recently and since that time has been growing weaker. He was past 74 years of age. He leaves a wife, who has been ill all summer; five sons and one daughter: Walter, John, Fred, Claude, Orville and Fern, living nearby, also a number of other relatives residing in that vicinity. Funeral services were conducted at the Radford cemetery Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. Mitchell, after which burial was made. We extend our sincere sympathy to the bereaved family.
