Andrew L. Bolon, 92, Dies
Retired Grocer, resident of Pittsburg Since 1897
Andrew L. Bolon died at his home at 512 East Seventh last night at 6:10 o'clock, just a month before his 93rd birthday.
Born on May 5, 1850, in Cuba, Ill., Mr. Bolon moved to Hutchinson in 1883, and three years later moved to a farm near Monmouth. In 1897 he came to Pittsburg. Until his retirement a number of years ago, he operated a grocery store on east Seventh Street.
Besides the widow, Mrs. Mary Bolon, survivors include four children. Frank Bolon, whose home is in Iowa; W. E. Bolon, Oakland Calif.; Mrs. Anna Harper, Albany Ore., and Mrs. Della Wood, Minden, Neb.; four step-children, Wayne Sergeant, Trinidad, Colo., L. L. Sergeant, 101 East Twenty-first, C.O. Sergeant, Nashville, Tenn., and L. A. Sergeant, Webb City; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body is at the E. K. Smith Funeral Home.

Rites Held Today
Burial rites for Andrew Bolon, 92, who died Monday, were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the E. K. Smith chapel with Rev. Virgil G. Nalley officiating. Burial was in Barton City cemetery near Liberal.
