The funeral of Mrs. Eugenie (Lizotte) Mailloux, 73, of 21 off Regan street, wife of Alexis Mailloux, who died in Henry Heywood Memorial Hospital Monday following a long illness, will be held Thursday morning at 9 in the Holy Rosary Church with a solemn high mass of requiem. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visiting hours will be observed this afternoon from 2 to 5 and tonight from 7 to 10.
Mrs. Mailloux was a member of the Ste. Anne Sodality of the Holy Rosary Church and Conseil Jean de Chantal, l'Union St. Jean Baptiste d'Amerique. Surviving are her husband; two sons, Rene and Leonce, both of Gardner; two daughters, Mrs. Aldea Lafreniere of South Ashburnham and Mrs. Imelda Cazeault of this city; two brothers, Alfred and Arthur Lizotte, both of Fitchburg; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Edwards of New Jersey and Miss Imelda Lizotte of Greenville, N.H.; eight grandchildren and one great-granchild.

Funeral services for Mrs. Eugenie (Lizotte) Mailloux, 73, of 21 off Regan street, wife of Alexis Mailloux who died in Henry Heywood Memorial Hospital Monday, were held this morning from the Lamoureux Funeral Home with a solemn high mass of requiem at 9 in Holy Rosary Church. Rev. Oliva Cormier, was celebrant, assisted by Rev. J. Charles Gendreau and Rev. Alcide Brosseau as deacon and sub-deacon respectively. Mr. and Mrs. George Trudeau were soloists with Mrs. Trudeau as organist.
Bearers were Albert Mailloux, Phillip Cormier, Aldege Richard, Edward Founier, Louis Maher and Robert Lafond. There was a wealth of beautiful floral tributes and spiritual bouquets and friends and relatives were present at the services from South Ashburnham, Fitchburg, New Jersey, Greenville, N.H., Gardner, and surrounding cities and towns.
Representing the Ste. Anne Sodality of the church, of which Mrs. Mailloux was a member, were Mrs. Evangeline Langevin, Mrs. Marie Nolin, Mrs. Alma Beaudoin, and Mrs. Rose LeBlanc. Mrs. Nolla Lévesque, president, Mrs. Leo Trembley, Mrs. Jean McDonald, and Mrs. Aime Perrault represented Conseil Jeanne de Chantal, l'Union St. Jean Baptiste, of which the deceased was also a member. Burial was in Notre Dame Cemetary, where Rev. Fr. Brousseau conducted the committal service.
