Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock in Holy Rosary Church for Alexis M. Mailloux, 77, of 21 Regan Street, who died Saturday after a short illness.
He was born in Actonville, P.Q., Canada and had lived in this city most of his life. He was the son of George and Alexina (Marion) Mailloux and was last employed by Heywood-Wakefield Co. In retirement for several years, he was a member of the League of the Sacred Heart. Survivors are two sons, Rene of Gardner and Leonce of Ashburnham; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Cazeault of Gardner and Mrs. Clarence Lafreniere of Ashburnham, six grandchildren and a great-granchild. Calling hours in the Lamoureux Funeral Home are from 2 to 6 and 7 to 10 this afternoon and evening. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetary.

Funeral Annoucement in the Gardner News:
The funeral of Alexis M. Mailloux, 77, of 21 off Regan Street, was held from the Lamoureux Funeral Home this morning, with a solemn high mass of requiem in Holy Rosary Church at 9 o'clock. Rev. Ovila Cormier was celebrant, Rev. J. Raymond Bedard was deacon and Rev. J. Charles Genddreau was sub-deacon. Rev. Charles E. Lynch, pastor of St. Ann's Church at South Ashburnham was seated in the sanctuary. The bearers, all members of the Acadien Social Club, were August Richard, John Jaillet, Lucien J. Dupuis, Albert Gallant, Ambrose Poirier, and Albenie Breault. Burial was in Notre Dame Cemetary, where Rev. Fr. Gendreau conducted the committal service.
