He was born Oct. 18, 1903, in Marquette. He was a retired manager of the Farmer’s Co-op in Marquette. He had served on the Kansas Board of Agriculture and had worked for the state Park Authority at Kanopolis Lake. He was a member of the Elim Lutheran Church.
Surviving are the widow, Ruth, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Jacobs of Jewell; a son, Arden of Clay Center; a sister, Mrs. Wilhelmina Heidrick of Concordia; a brother, Herman of Marquette; and 5 grandchildren.
