Age 65 of Keeney Rd., Warsaw, suddenly passed away at the Wyoming County Community Hospital, Warsaw.
David was raised in Batavia but resided in Connecticut for 23 years where he worked for the Metro North Commuter Rail Service making trips from Connecticut to NY City as an engineer. All totaled David worked for various railroads for 33 years.
He moved back to Warsaw in August of this year after retiring.
He was a member of the Rock Glen Baptist Church and the Disabled American Veterans. He served his country in the Marine Corp for twelve years and was discharged after Vietnam. He enjoyed collecting Lionel trains, breeding and raising Shih'Tzu puppies. He loved his dogs, Teddy Bear, Chouchie, Slipper and Gizmo.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Sage, formerly California.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Donna Phetterpalace Sage, whom he married on December 11, 1971; brother, Roland and Bonnie Sage of Le Roy; several nieces and nephews; several great and great-great-nieces and nephews.
