I want to thank Carol. C. for sponsoring my mom's memorial. Thank you Carol from the botton of my heart. You have been such a dear friend and I can't thank you enough. God Bless You always and forever.

My mother was the second oldest of six children born to Nelson Ryno and Catherine Hawkins Ryno. My mom completed a two year vocational in Commercial Work at James H. Bowen High School. She went to work for Time Magazine in Chicago and there she met my dad. They were married on July 5th, 1947. My older sister, myself and my younger brother were all born in Chicago. We relocated to Los Angeles California in 1951 and my youngest brother was born there. My mom was the best mother. She took such great care of my dad and us kids. She was a stay at home mom and she loved it. Our house was always spotless and I think she did the laundry every day. She loved to iron. She would even iron the underwear and my dad would tease her about it. He always asked her why the underwear and she would tell him that you never knew if you would be in an accident. My mom and dad had a wonderful marriage. They were only married eighteen years when the Lord called my dad home. My mom was left with taking care of four teen-agers and we were not always the best kids. She went to work for the Orange County Hall of Records and retired fifteen years later. My mom lived with my husband and I most of the time. She was a God fearing woman and loved the Lord with all her heart. She was always praying for her family and I thank God that she did. She was always at church every Sunday. Only when she fell and couldn't walk any longer at the age of 88 did she no longer attend but she would church on the TV. My mom fell and fractured her pelvic bone on October 24,2002. That was the beginning of all of her health problems. She developed COPD, emphysema, CHF and a few other problems. She was legally blind and no longer walking. She had lost so much weight. She weighed only 85 pounds when she passed away. My mom would always say she was a burden to me. It wasn't a burden taking care of my mom. I loved her so much and it was a blessing for me to do that for her. My mom didn't know why the Lord kept her here on earth so long. I told her when her time was up and her work here on earth was done, the Lord would take her hand and take her home which is exactly what happened. I miss my mom so much that at times it hurts. I have wonderful memories of my mom and I thank God for those because nobody can take them from me.

On the night my mom passed away the Lord blessed me with a vision. I have never had a vision and haven't had one since this night. He showed me my mom, still in her hospital gown, hair up in a little bun like she always wore it, holding His hand and walking through a beautiful garden with such green trees, bushes and colorful flowers and a stream in the center of this garden. I have never seen her so peaceful as I did in this vision. The main thing for me about this vision, is that my mom never looked back. She just held the hand of Jesus and kept going forward. To me this means that she was finally at peace and had let everything go that had worried her here on earth. I thank Him for this vision because He was letting me know that she was alright and in good hands. Oh, I can't wait to see her again. Thank You Jesus.
