RAABE HELEN M. After a long and happy life, Helen Raabe passed away on March 15th at the age of 102. Helen was born on December 7, 1900 in St. Louis, Missouri. She came to California and settled in Burlingame in 1926. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Robert and Lawrence Raabe. Helen is survived by her daughters-in-law, Anita Raabe of San Carlos and Anneliese Raabe of Fallon, Nevada, grandchildren, Carol Stafford, Gail Raabe, Marcelle Marlow, Steven Raabe, Denise Raabe and Bruce Raabe, her twelve great grandchildren, Paul and Joseph Stafford, Scott and Kevin Leddy, Jeffery and Daniel Marlow, Tamara Guitron, Timothy, Michael and Corrie Raabe and Stephanie and Tateyana Raabe. In December of 2002, Helen was introduced to her great, great granddaughter, Bailey Raabe of Winnemucca, NV. Asked for the secret of her long life, Helen said she ate plenty of chocolate, vanilla ice cream and cookies. Always with a smile, and hardly a wrinkle at 102, she was loved by her family, her friends and all of the staff at Hopkins Manor in Redwood City. Services Saturday, March 29th, 3:30 p.m. at Neptune Society, Belmont.
