Funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon from the country home of L. L. Sharp for Mrs. Martha Ellen Brockman, aged 75, who passed away late Wednesday evening. The Rev. A. M. Williams of the First Christian Church conducted the funeral services. The deceased has lived for the past six years with her daughter, Mrs. L. L. Sharp. She leaves a large circle of relatives and friends in the valley to mourn her death. She was born March 4, 1848.
Surviving Mrs. Brockman are two sons, Dr. A. F. Brockman of Bickleton, Washington and George Brockman of Portland, and three daughters, Mrs. B. F. Hicks, Mrs. L. L. Sharp, and Mrs. M. E., Riegle in addition to a large number of grandchildren and other relatives. The Steltz Mortuary had charge of the funeral services.
