Illness Claims Lebanon Woman
Funeral services for Mrs. Mollie M. Smith of 915 South Hamilton Street will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the Russell & Hitch Funeral Home in Lebanon. Mrs. Smith died at 8:15 a.m. today at her home. She was 81 years old and had been in seriously ill health for one week.
She was born June 3, 1878, to the late Luther and Adeline (Goin) Smith in Hendricks County. In 1894, she was married to Noah Smith, who died February 1916.
Survivors include two sons, Curtis of Lebanon, Leon of Mt. Claire; 6 daughters, Mrs. Mytle Williams of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Mary Armstrong of Lizton, Mrs. Bonnie Golay and Mrs. Margaret Greer of Indianapolis, Mrs. Hazel O'Heath of Lansing, Mich., Mrs. Geraldine Turner of [obit illegible]; and one sister Mrs. Ida Pierson of Claremont; 34 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
One son, three sisters, and three brothers preceded her in death.
Mrs. Smith was a member of the Baptist Church of Concord. She had lived in Lebanon for the past 15 years. She worked on a Boone County farm for three years. Burial will be in the K of P Cemetery in Lizton. Friends may call at the Funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday.

Mrs. Mollie M. Smith, native of Hendricks County, died at her home in Lebanon, last Friday following a week's illness. She was 81 years of age.
She had been a resident of Fayette County for many years before moving to Lebanon. She was a member of the Concord Baptist Church.
Services were Monday morning in the Russell and Hitch Funeral Home with burial in the Lizton Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Leon Smith, of Mont Clair, and Curtis Smith, of Lebanon; six daughters, Mrs. Mary Armstrong, of Lizton, Mrs. Myrtle Williams, of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Bonnie Golay and Mrs. Margaret Greer, both of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Hazel O'Hern, of Lansing, Mich., one sister, 34 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
