Miss Shannon Mechelle Day, 38, of Monroe, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2008, at her residence. She was a nurse at E. A. Conway and was attending ULM.
Her funeral was at 4 p.m. Monday, March 17, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Tracy D. Boyd officiating. Interment was in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday evening.
Survivors include her parents, Delton and Iris Bordelon of Sterlington; son, Brent Allen Day of Monroe; four sisters, Angela Kay Skipper and husband, Junior, and their children, Sarah and Tyler of Calhoun; Penny Lane Toney and husband, Michael, and their children, Heather, Michael and Joshua of London, Ky.; Jennifer Wren Slaughter and husband, John, and their children, Anna, Kayla and Kelsey of Jonesboro; and Victoria Lee Bordelon of Sterlington.
