--Mrs. Samuel Saint, whose home is some five or six miles northwest of Lyons, died on Saturday morning last, aged 70 years. This death was a great shock to the family and entire neighborhood, as she had gotten supper the evening before, besides she was engaged in putting up some fruit. She was an exemplary wife and mother, and neighbor whom all loved and honored. She was the mother of 8 children, 5 of whom and her husband survive her. Her remains were laid at rest in the cemetery northwest of Lyons on Sunday.--C. K. Democrat.
