Mr. Ferris was a Navy Veteran of WW II, member of the Maple Shade VFW Post #2445 Honor Guard, Teamsters Local #107, the Masonic Lodge #211, Shriner's LuLu Temple and the Delaware Valley Model 'A' Club, all of Philadelphia.
He was the beloved husband of Joan C. (nee LeVan) Stoneback - Ferris, loving father of twins; Kathie Mawhinny and the late Karin Ferris, Kenneth Ferris, Linda Mangan and Terry Sautter, dear grandfather of 16; especially the late Donald, great grandfather of 17, brother of Grace Arnold and Virginia Scheiber, brother-in-law of Dolores Romano and Muriel Brophy; also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Howard's Life Celebration Sunday evening 7 - 9 pm and Monday morning 9 - 10 am at INGLESBY/ GIVNISH OF MAPLE SHADE, 600 East Main Street followed by his Funeral Mass Monday 10:30 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help R.C. Church, Main Street and Fellowship Road, Maple Shade. Interment 1 pm at NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
