Mrs. Rose Lee Russell Rogers, 78, retired clerk for Woolworth's and resident of Alterra Sterling House, died Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Polk Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mike Roberts officiating. The family will visit with friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Oakes & Nichols. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com.

The Hickman County native was the daughter of the late William Andrew Russell and Rose Berry Russell. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, E. H. "Pete" Rogers of Columbia; two brothers, Cyrus Washington (Irma) Russell of Clarksville and Walter (Beverly) Russell of Dickson; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Fannie Bell Russell Pullen and Annie Lou Russell Jones Turner; and two brothers, Thomas Russell and Archie Russell.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
