Mrs. Anna C. Stoelting, 89, of 823 6th St., Kiel, widow of Gustav, died Sunday at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton. The former Anna Roeck was born July 24, 1886 in Ebenezer, N.Y., a daughter of the Rev. John and Anna Herrmann Roeck. She came to Kiel with her family at the age of 6. On Aug. 24, 1910 she was married to Mr. Stoelting in Kiel. The couple resided in Kiel where her husband was a partner with his brothers in the hardware and dairy equipment manufacturing business. Mr. Stoelting died Aug. 17, 1954.
She was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ, Kiel, and a charter member of the Women's Guild of the church, the church Frauen Verein, and taught Sunday school for 25 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Della) Beil, Bellville; two sons, Herman, Milwaukee and Gustave of Eau Claire; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Duecker and Mrs. Oscar Kazmeier both of Kiel and a brother, the Rev. Carl Roeck of Toledo, Ohio.
Two sisters and four brothers preceded her in death.
