Anna Christine Shadrick, 98, St. Clair, passed away Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005, in St. Clair.
Mrs. Shadrick was born Dec. 2, 1906, in St. Louis, the daughter of Clemons Stickamp and wife Ann.
On May 22, 1972, she was united in marriage to Rube Sebastan Shadrick.
Mrs. Shadrick was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Sullivan.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Shadrick was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rube Shadrick; and one infant brother, Clemons Stickamp.
She is survived by her step-daughter, Carol Tinsley and husband Timothy, St. Clair; two grandchildren, Scott Tinsley and wife Lynda, Pacific, and Barry Tinsley and wife Amy, Stockbridge, Ga.; five great-grandchildren, Airman 1st Class Joseph Tinsley and wife Jamie, Little Rock, Ark., Phillip Tinsley, St. Charles, Pfc. Kyle Tinsley, and Kayla Tinsley, all of Stockbridge, Ga.; and Matthew Tinsley, Pacific; one brother-in-law, Ray Shadrick and wife Ruby, St. Clair; three sisters-in-law, Velma Love, Sullivan, Ruth Reed and Mae Flora, both of St. Clair; one cousin, Jerry Lammert and wife Rose, St. Louis; nieces; nephews; great- and great-great-nieces and -nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 26, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair, with the Rev. Joe Sikes officiating.
Interment was in Midlawn Memorial Gardens, Union.
Memorials to New Hope Baptist Church, Sullivan, are preferred.
The family was served by Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair.
