KIRK - Lavina Jane Kirk of Veneta, Ore., passed away in Eugene September 30, 1950 at the age of 96 years. She was born September 30, 1854 in Worth County, Mo., and has been a resident of this community for the past 20 years. Her husband, Benjamin F. Kirk preceded her in death many years ago. She is survived by 3 sons, James H. of Veneta, Joe of Prelate, Canada and Addison Kirk, of Causton, B.C.; 3 brothers, Dr. W. J. Adams, both of Anaheim, Calif., and Argus Adams of Fullerton, Calif.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Winnie Perry of Anaheim, Calif. and Cordelia Ewing of Mt. Air, Iowa. Funeral servicdes will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, in the Inman Cemetery. Simon-Lounsbury Mortuary entrusted with funeral arrangements.
