Mr. Ronald Albert Randall, Galesburg Chapel
65, of 947 Frank St., Galesburg died at 12:35 PM Monday June 30, 2008 at 2030 E. Main St., Galesburg.
He was born April 27, 1943 in near Avon in Greenbush Township, Warren County, IL the son of Walter and Margaret Moore Randall. He married Mary L. Mozingo in Galesburg on December 31, 1973.
He is survived by one daughter, Cari A. (and Aaron) Smith of Altona, IL; two brothers, Larry Randall of Nicaragua and John Randall of Keithsburg, IL; three sisters, Delores Connour, Patricia Randall and Joyce Herslow, and one sister-in-law, Ella Randall, all of Galesburg, and four grandchildren, Patrick Randall, Andrew Darmer, Morgan Darmer and Gabriel Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Richard and William Randall.
He served in the US Army Artillery from June 17, 1960 to June 15, 1963.
He worked for Rowe Manufacturing for 10 years. He later worked as a Material Handler for Maytag Corporation for 30 years and 11 months, retiring in 2004. He was a member of the I.A.M.A. #2063. He was the M.V. P for the Paintball Association. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy Fan.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 AM Tuesday July 8, 2008 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. The Rev. Tom Smith will officiate. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM Monday at the chapel. Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery with Military Rites by Ralph M. Noble American Legion Post 285. Memorials may be made to the family to establish an education fund for his grandchildren.
