Services for Cody Worth Adams, 76, of Coldwater will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Churchill-Imes Family Funeral Home in Murray with Richard Adams, the Rev. Tim Palmer and Rick Murdock officiating. Burial with military rites will be in West Fork Cemetery in Coldwater.

Mr. Adams died at 5:40 p.m. Monday at his home.

A native of Calloway County, he was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and served in the Kentucky Army National Guard 438th Military Police Company. He was a retired boiler operator at General Tire in Mayfield. He was a member of Coldwater Baptist Church and attended Coldwater United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Estelle Hall Adams; one son, Cody Lanch Adams of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; two daughters, Twila Ann Adams of Coldwater and Stacey Ellen Murdock of Lynn Grove; two brothers, Lowell Adams of Stella and Earl Adams of Mayfield; two sisters, Suda Nell Bazzell of Coldwater and Myrna Loy Rose of Murray; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. His parents were Columbus Worth and Haru Castleberry Hargrove Adams.
