Mrs. Herman Zietlow, 59 years old resident of this community for 50 years, died Saturday night at 11 o'clock at her home southeast of Fontanelle, after a long illness. She leaves to mourn her death, her husband, eight children, Mrs. Emilee Grothen of Mendota, Ill., Mrs. Emma Finck, Mrs. Martha Leuthauser, Carl Zietlow, Mrs. Marie Jensen and Herman, William and Albert Zietlow at home; her two brothers, the Rev. Otto C. Bliese of Fairwater, Wis., and Paul Bliese of Fontanelle; a sister, Mrs. Marie Schmidt of Minot, N.D. and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Lutheran church and were conducted by the Rev. W.H. Kurtz. Interment was in the Fontanelle cemetery.
