Ms. Candice LaToya Clay, age 25, of Forrest City, died Friday, June 27, 2008, in Forrest City. Ms. Clay was born Sept. 11, 1982, the daughter of Claudette Clay. She was a former news anchor with KUAP at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and is survived by her mother of Forrest City; a brother, Clayton DuPree Clay of Pine Bluff; two sisters, Junniest Redeus of Pine Bluff and Angela Clay Bolden of Forrest City; her great-grandmother, Annie Bell Washington of Searcy and her grandmother, Junniest Cross of Haynes. Funeral services for Ms. Clay will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at 1 p.m. at Spring Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Cedric Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Casteel Cemetery. Clay Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
