Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 3, at Williamsfield Methodist Church. The Rev. Randy Douglass will officiate. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Rux Funeral Home in Williamsfield. Burial will be in Williamsfield Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to ABATE - Central Illinois Chapter or Galva Lions Club.
Kevin was born June 12, 1954, in Galesburg, son to Percy H. and Jeane D. (Speer) Cain. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by one aunt, Joanne Wilson of Williamsfield; and five cousins, Dick and Don Meehan, Barb Elliott, Chip Murdock and Vicki Quick.
Kevin graduated from Williamsfield High School in 1972 and from Western Illinois University in 1976. He farmed most of his life and later worked at Altorfer in Bartonville. He enjoyed his Harley Davidson motorcycles. He had been a charter member of Illinois Motorcyclist Rights Association Inc., ABATE of Illinois, Galva Lions Club, National Rifle Association and International Union of Operating Engineers. He also was safety director for HOG (Harley Owners Group) and the activities coordinator for ABATE.
