He was born to Fredrick and Elizabeth (Bollenbacher) Bollenbacher. On Dec. 8, 1946, he married Lois Zizelman who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Myra Romime, Portland, IN; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son-in-law, Robert Romime; two brothers, Morris and Homer; and two sisters, Matilda Gertz and Viola Kuhn.
He retired as a saleman at Sam Dixon Motor Sales after 35 years of service. He was a member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ, Rockford, and a life member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts, both of Celina. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Services were at the church, the Rev. John Fleming officiating.
