Oscar Lowell Reynolds, 63, of Quercus Grove, died Sunday, June 29, 2008, in Quercus Grove.

He was born June 11, 1945, in Laurel County, Ky., the son of Charles Hughes and Ora Mae Arthur Reynolds. He was a 1963 graduate of Hazel Green High School in London, Ky. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. He began his career as a gravure pressman and retired from the maintenance department of Altivity Packaging in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a 26-year member of the Local 96, United Steel Workers in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he served as president of the union. He was a member of Vevay Post 185 of the American Legion and the Rising Sun Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Fultz Reynolds; one daughter, Teresa Gabbard of Oxford, Ohio; three sons, Nathan Reynolds of London, Ky., Gary Reynolds Quercus Grove and Lowell Reynolds of Vevay; five sisters, Melba Teeter of Orlando, Fla., Vivian Reener of Mount Vernon, Ky., Lillian Reed and Brenda Blanton, both of London, Ky., and Sandra McCowan of East Bernstadt, Ky.; two brothers, Kenton Reynolds and Kevin Reynolds, both of London, Ky.; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son, David Eric Reynolds, who died Jan. 16, 2002; his parents; and one brother, Dowell Wayne Reynolds.

A graveside service and burial was at New Liberty Cemetery in East Enterprise. Military rites were conducted graveside by the honor guard of Vevay Post 185 of the American Legion and the Vevay Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5396.
