Ottie J. Dye, 85, of Cayuga passed away at 4:20 a.m. EDT Saturday, June 28, 2008, at Brownsburg Meadows in Brownsburg, Indiana.
He was born May 10, 1923 in Eubank, Ky. to the late Victor K. and Marticia E. Green Dye. He was also preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. He married Helen Lee Porter on May 12, 1945 in Terre Haute. She survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Susan Lee (Bob) Hill of Pittsboro, Indiana; one son, Ottie Joe (Ann) Dye of Lake Charles, La.; five grandchildren, Doug Hill of Marion, Indiana; Matthew Hill of Franklin, Indiana; John Mitchell (Susan) Dye of Corydon, Indiana; Mindy Jo Dye of Louisville, Ky. and Shelly Kral of Lake Charles, La.; six great-grandchildren and one brother, Clarence (Lena) Dye of Somerset, Ky.
