Catherine C. (Gotwalt) Goodwin, 81, died Monday morning, June 30, 2008, at York Hospital. She was the wife of Darvin C. "Goody" Goodwin who died July 7, 2007.
Mrs. Goodwin was born February 12, 1927, in York, and was the daughter of the late Daniel J., Sr. and Angelous E. (Sharretts) Gotwalt. She was a homemaker and was also assistant manager at the former Pensupreme on E. Market St., York.
Mrs. Goodwin is survived by four daughters, Mary Ellen Goodwin of York, Barbara Kornbau and husband, Bruce of Yoe, Melinda Cutler and husband, Randy of York and Angelous Klinedinst and husband, Jeff of Red Lion; a son, David Goodwin and wife, Theresa of York; four grandchildren, Jennifer Ann Hopkinson and husband, Michael, Jamie Myers and husband, Tobias, Gregory Goodwin and Kevin Goodwin; six stepgrandchildren; eight step great-grandchildren; two brothers, Daniel J. Gotwalt, Jr. and James Gotwalt, both of York; and a sister, Evelyn Luckenbaugh of York.
Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
