Sweetwater - D. O. "Dick" Bonner, 87, of Fort Worth, died Sunday in a Fort Worth nursing home.

Service will be at 10 a.m. today in Cate-Spencer Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Palava Cemetery.

He was born Dec. 22, 1900 in Jacksonville. He operated a grocery store until the late 1940's and farmed until 1970. He lived in Sweetwater, moving to Fort Worth in 1973.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Bonner; four sisters, Erna Byrd of Sweetwater, Myrtle DeBusk of Cleburne, Hazel Odom of Paris and Florence Bishop of Troupe; and one brother, Frank Bonner of Jacksonville.
