Graduate of Moreauville High School in 1943. Received a B.S. degree from S. L I in Lafayette. Later enroled in the medical school at LSU. Applied for a commission in the Air Force. Called to active duty during the Korean War. Began flight training in Waco, Texas. He went on to Panama City, Texas for F-89 filght training. In July 1952 assigned to Truax Field in Madison, Wisconsin.

On November 23, 1953 on a flight over Lake Superior, he and Lt. Robert L. Wilson disappeared. Radar indicated the plane crashed into something.

To date no trace of the pilots or the jet have even been found.
