Mrs. Theodore Bach

Mrs. Bach's maiden name was Dorthea Maria Andreasen. Her parents were Christian and Karen Andreasen. She was born at Store Bruendem in Denmark, on May 5, 1884. Here she was baptized, instructed in the Lutheran faith and confirmed.
In June, 1908, she came to the United States and one month later, on July 10, 1908, she was united in holy wedlock with Mr. Theodore Bach. The wedding took place at Nelson, Nebraska, but she and her husband made their home near Nora, Nebraska, where they lived until moving to Chadron in the spring of 1930.
Her marriage union was blessed with nine children. Two of these preceded their parents in death. The seven living children of the departed are: Carre who is Mrs. John Malpert of Cadams; Holger of Chadron; Elna who is teaching at Hot Springs, South Dakota; Einar who is this year finishing his theological training at Concordia Seminary at Springfield, Ill.; Harld, Alvia and Edith of Chadron.
Mrs. Bach passed away Thursday, December 26, at her home two miles northwest of Chadron, att (sic) he (sic) age of 56 years, 7 monthsand (sic) 21 days. A stroke ended her life.
Funeral services were conducted from the Lutheran church (sic) at Chad- (sic) mortal remains were then brought (typed as written in newspaper) Rev. Carl H. Wolf officiated. Her mortal remains werethen (sic) brought to Nora in order to be laid to rest beside her sainted husband. Rev. L. Scholl of Salem Lutheran Church officiated at the cemetery.
