Anna Marie Schlamann was born July 29, 1894, in Ruskin, Nebr., to Henry and Louise Bohe Kolling. On August 19, 1894 she was baptized in the St. Paul Lutheran church (sic), Thayer County, at which place she was also confirmed on April 12, 1908.

She married John Diedrick Schlamann on December 31, 1912 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lincoln, Nebr., and to this union eight children were born, one who died in infancy.

She was preceeded (sic) in death by her husband who passed away December 29, 1936; her parents; an infant daughter; three brothers, William, Henry, and Otto; three sisters, Sophie, Mary and Emma; 2 son-in-laws, Victor Anderson and Dean Wilkin.

The relatives remaining are six daughters, Mrs. Louis Doering, Leona, Mrs. Victor Anderson; Alice, Mrs. Dean Wilkin; Esther, Mildred, Mrs. Herbert Jensen; Fern, Mrs. Harvey Schriever; one son, Walter, 16 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Mrs. Schlamann passed away at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Nelson, Nebr., on May 24, 1967. Funeral services were held in the Salem Lutheran church (sic), Saturday, May 27, conducted by Rev. George Feistner. Casket Bearers were Merlyn Andersen, Russell Andersen, Lynn Schriever, Daniel B. Wilken, Jesse Jensen, Allen Houtwed. Arrangements were by the Klawitter Funeral Home of Nelson and Interment was in the Salem Lutheran Cemetery.
