Oscar Noe Hinojosa, 76, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2008 at an Aransas Pass hospital. Mr. Hinojosa was born on June 4, 1932 to Antonio Hinojosa and Matilde Lopez Hinojosa in Falfurrias, Texas.
He worked as a maintenance employee for the Falfurrias Housing Authority for many years before his retirement.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Elva R. Hinojosa, daughter, Marissa Anabel Hinojosa and sister, Angelica Perez.
He is survived by his children; three sons, Antonio (Martha) Hinojosa of Laredo; Oscar N. (Lisa) Hinojosa, Jr. of Aransas Pass; and Gilbert Hinojosa of Corpus Christi; three daughters, Irma Nelda (William) Phelps and Sylvia An Silvas of Falfurrias and Gloria Ann Hinojosa of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Elva Perez of Premont and Maria Elia Hinojosa of Falfurrias; twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation and a rosary were recited on June 29th at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams. A mass was celebrated on June 30th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the New Sacred Heart Cemetery, Falfurrias, TX.
